"Khmer Rouge" was the name King Norodom Sihanouk gave to his communist opponents in the 1960s. Their official name was the Communist Party of Kampuchea (CPK), which took control of Cambodia on April 17, 1975 to 1979

Feature of Statue of Jayavaraman VII

This is the first time the two concrete behaviours, meditation and salutation, of Jayavaraman VII were discovered by researchers. But the significant thing is the statue of this king representing three Buddhists doctrines: pain, uncertain and non-self.
